About Us
Hey there!
We're so glad you're here, looking for a professional to help you stop pulling your hair out over every puddle of pee, every chewed up shoe, every minute spent trying to get an uncooperative dog back inside so you can get to work.
We know what it's like to have a dog who just won't listen and makes you just want to give up, maybe even consider rehoming them. You just wish somebody would tell you how to train them the right way, but there is so much conflicting information online and it's hard to tell which methods actually work.
Look no further, we've done all the research and found what works best so you don't have to waste anymore of your precious time!

We're here for YOU!
Tandem Dog Training was founded in 2016 by Nicole Weatherby, who wanted to share her knowledge with the Minot community and help as many dog owners as possible. Dog owners who were dealing with out-of-control dogs just like yours. Over the several years, Tandem Dog Training grew into one of Minot's most popular sources for dog training, even winning community awards, appearing on local television, and bringing the first Bat Dogs to the Minot Hot Tots baseball team! Our team grew to include three more amazing trainers who have helped hundreds of families turn unruly dogs into lovable, well-mannered, and even dream dogs.
We all know how frustrating it can be to have a dog who doesn’t listen, who chews up everything in sight, and drags you down the street – not to mention embarrassing! So many dogs are rehomed due to these very issues every day, which is why we’ve dedicated years to learning the most efficient and effective ways to stop nuisance behaviors and teach dogs how they should behave.
We truly love working with dogs and their owners to find solutions to everyday problems, and because every dog is different we pride ourselves on having multiple approaches to every behavior so we can find what works best for each individual. That’s why we are always learning and always looking for better ways to help dogs understand how to live with us in a human society. That’s also why we're confident that we can help you with just about any problem you may be having with your dog.
